Boat House Rules
The boat stored inside the boat house: Not Available for use
• The gradual step down into the water is perfect for small children and toddlers,
• Adult Supervision required for guests under the age of 18
• 10pm Noise Ordinance, find your way back from the boathouse and enjoy the inside of your lovely rental home.
• For outdoor activities at the home, please keep voice levels and music down while enjoying the outdoors.
Only a short drive from Atlanta, Knot Done is located on pristine Lake Burton in the North Georgia Mountains. Once you step over the threshold of this lodge-style home you feel the tranquility and slower pace that comes with lake living.
Knot Done is on “the big water” of the lake with magnificent views of the cascading mountains. From the sunshine over the mountains to the golden glow at sunset, the lake views at the home are truly spectacular to behold.

May 1, 2025 - Lake is back to Normal summer pool (1865.0 elevation)

• This property is not pet-friendly. No exceptions.
• Digital rental agreement will be required to sign and complete after property is booked.
• Firewood not supplied. Firewood not allowed in the gas fireplace.
• Georgia fishing license required for fishing on the property. Licenses can be purchased online for as low as $5/day.
• Boat not supplied. Rentals available at LaPrade's Marina.

Please note: the boat is not available for guest use. Please make sure that if you are using water toys to gather all of them up at the end of your day & stay. Do NOT leave any toys or trash in the lake water. ALL trash is to be bagged up and taken to the cans located on the property. If there is excessive trash, please take to the recycling center that is listed on your directions email.
BOAT RENTAL INFORMATION:
LaPrade's Marina & Anchorage Marina will rent boats and store boats. Visit Moccasin Creek Fish Hatchery to fish, not far from the Appalachian Trail. Contact La Prades Marina for launching and overnight boat slip information. Launch fees are $5 per day. To leave a boat on a trailer at La Prades there is a cost of $10 daily or the cost of an overnight slip is $25 nightly. LaPrade's is located at 25 Shoreline Trail, Clarkesville, GA 30523. Call (706) 947.0010 for inquiries
Anchorage Marina on Lake Burton has slip rentals for your boat or watersport rentals to enjoy on the lake. It is located at Anchorage Boat Dock 75 Timpson Cove Rd. Clayton, GA 30525. Call (706) 782-3013 for inquiries.
Cancellation Policy
• Effective upon Reservation
• 16 Days or Greater - Credit issued on Account - Valid for 12 months
• 15 Days or Less - NO Refunds - Rescheduling Not Available
Reservation Requirements
• 50% payment is due at checkout for bookings further than 15 days out.
• 2nd 50% payment due 15 days before arrival.
• If your arrival date is already within the 15-day window of arrival full payment will be required at time of booking.
Payment Requirements
• Credit Card - Must Remain On File for Damages Exceeding $700.
• If your arrival date is already within the 15-day window of arrival full payment will be required at time of booking.
• Travel Insurance Recommended; please review Travel Insurance Coverage.
Check-In / Check-Out
• Contactless Self Check-In at 4 PM.
• Check-Out is at 11 AM.
• Early Check-Ins and Late Check-Outs are based on availability, additional fees may apply
• Some lake roads are gravel and narrow.
• Some roads may require an SUV or 4 Wheel Drive, please inquire
• GPS directions are not recommended after dark

• Guest will be billed $250 if evidence of a dog is found on the property
ALL CABINS ARE NON-SMOKING!
• A $250 fine will be billed if evidence of smoking smell / smoking is found inside the property

• Provided by a Certified, Bonded, Licensed, and CPO Hot Tub and Management Team
• We take pride in the cleanliness of rentals with no exception.
• Each Cabin Rental has an assigned personal housekeeper for your specific needs.
• Courtesy starter kit provided with each rental: paper towels, bath tissue, trash bags, dish detergent and tabs, bath soaps, shampoos, lotion, and hand soap
• All Rentals are supplied with Towels and Linens (Amount Provided is based upon Published Maximum Occupancy)
