Firewood can be purchased at nearby grocery and convenience stores.
House Rules:
- 25+ age requirement for lead guest. No exceptions.
- This property is not pet-friendly. No exceptions.
- Digital rental agreement will be required to sign and complete after property is booked.
- Firewood not supplied. Firewood not allowed in the gas fireplace.
- Tubes/kayaks not supplied.
Georgia fishing license required for fishing on the property. Licenses can be purchased online for as low as $5/day.
This spacious level property is bordered by the Chattahoochee Wildlife Management Preserve. There is something for everyone: fishing, hiking, river tubing, biking, picnicking, horseback riding, or just relaxing by the outdoor fire pit and picnic area.
Elk Manor is the perfect spot for rest and relaxation and is located close to nature at the headwaters of the upper Chattahoochee River. This lodge home has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
This beautiful home is located just minutes from the shopping and dining of the delightful alpine village of Helen, GA and a short drive to the spectacular Anna Ruby Falls, Dukes Creek Falls, Smithgall Woods Center, and Unicoi State Park.

The views of the River from this cabin are amazing!
Very relaxing! Lots of comfortable places to sit and snuggle up with a book! Decks go right to the water and Adirondacks and Rocking chairs invite you to sit a spell and watch the Chattahoochee go by!

Working with the team was super easy. I received text messages welcoming me, during the stay to ensure everything was going ok, and reminder text messages before my departure. When I reached out to them, their response was prompt and helpful. Booking through this company was a lot easier than booking or staying at a VRBO or such.

This property was wonderful! Our party consisted of 4 adults and 2 toddlers. The setup was perfect for our whole family. The location was so close to downtown Helen- just a few minutes drive. The kids loved exploring the property along the creek and collecting stones. Make sure to leave the master bedroom door open a crack. The sound of the rushing creek will lull you to sleep. It was pretty rainy a majority of our stay. This cabin provides ample space to spread out and relax or play on those rainy days. The cabin also felt very clean- which was very important to us. If or when we ever return to Helen, we would definitely stay here again.

Great place for an escape yet close to everything Helen has to offers. The cabin is stocked well, up to date amenities and gives an appearance of a true fish camp. A lot of thought went into the decor. Very relaxing river front. Close to WMA for fishing backwaters and hiking. We hope to return in the near future! And yes, the hip waders are part of the rental. Nice touch!

Wifi provided so wasnt completely out of the loop but nice to not have phone calls every five minutes. True vacation from normal life which is always much needed and allows for quality family time.

Beautiful cozy cabin right on the chattahoochee. We loved everything about our stay except maybe a little better water pressure. The cabin was decorated perfectly and the outside deck sits right on the river. Very close to Helen. The town of Helen is a cool little mountain town with all kinds of dinning and entertainment. We usually dont go to the same place twice on vacations but if we did, this would make the list!

My husband and I stayed in Elk Manor with our two children. We all loved it. Very nice stay as well as the views, the river, etc. It's quiet and secluded but still close to everything. We were very happy and comfortable there. Unfortunately, it rained most of the time we were there. Thanks hurricane Delta! We were not able to use as many amenities as we would have liked but it didn't dampen our fun!
